*Yawn*
Well, I can't say that too much is going on around here as of late. Ok, that isn't completely true. Boredom has been going on here lately. *smiles*
Anyway, brief rundown of things, had a follow-up appointment with one of the PAs at my doctor's office and I have lost seven pounds. I have to be referred to see a new cardiologist, by my request...I dislike my current one..., anyway, I have been having some weird pains in my chest after I do certain physical activities. Now, obviously the PA is not too concerned because she didn't do it as a STAT. So, I am not stressing about that. I have to go and have a full blood panel done...oh joy...I am used to getting stuck in the arm with a needle because of having to have my TSH levels checked regularly, but still, it's not fun.
Madden Man has reached his 90 day mark at his job and we are hoping for the best, and expecting the best. *keeping fingers crossed* You know, I have to be honest and say that I really like him working nights. That may seem a little weird, but you know what? I am up when he leaves for work, and he is usually home like an hour after T.T. is on the bus, so I don't really have a bunch of time to miss him. Not to mention, I like not having to be all by myself during the day. Granted he is sleep during the day, but he is here, I don't feel so alone.
Anyway, with the passing of Super Bowl, we had the customary pot of Gumbo. If you don't know what that is, you are so fucking missing out on some really good stuff. Madden Man took some with him to work the night of Super Bowl and didn't get to eat much of it. Someone actually went up into their fridge and into his bag and ate all his damn gumbo. Ok, say it with me folks...Trifling...Crass....No class...Anywho, this woman now feels so bad about having ate his gumbo that she has been giving him a little money in order to try and make up for it. Needless to say, everyone that Madden Man works with is going to pitch in and get the ingredients so that my mum can make them a big pot of Gumbo before St. Patty's Day.
Ok, on a completely random note, I so love DVR. Sure, I am a day behind all the time with this thing, but damn, I love it. Since we have gotten a DVR, I have started watching 24, Ghost Whisperer & CSI: New York. Not to mention, I have started watching one of my favourite soaps yet again. So nice to know that as long as the show is on, I can watch it at any time. I kinda like not having to be tied down to a tv schedule. So much nicer. *grins*
Well, it has taken me like 45 minutes to write this damn short entry, so I am going to end it now.
